Artifacts:
We can provide information on most any Wartime or Pioneer Artifacts manufactured before 1946 to include flags, uniforms, drums, swords, medals, knives, photographs, insignia, cannons, belt buckles & plates, hats, musical instruments, diaries, letters, commissions, coins, leather goods, horse equipage, medical & naval items, dug relics, etc.
Guns & Firearms:
We only buy and have knowledge of guns manufactured before 1899. We do not buy or know anything about Shotguns, Bolt-action rifles or semi-automatic pistols. We can attempt to help you find buyers for these items upon request if they are in exceptional condition.
How to Identify, Authenticate and Possibly Sell an item:
There are thousands of different guns, swords and other artifacts that are generally similar in appearance to each other and difficult to identify. A few sharp email photos of the item(s) in question can be responded to within hours or sometimes minutes of an email with photos.
When you have taken some sharp digital photos, send them with your name and phone number to us at:
As we get many such emails, Michael Simens will personally respond by phone, as typing a response can be time consuming and prohibitive. We therefore ask that you include your name and phone number with each email that you send. .
A transaction can often be completed within 24 hours or less, safely and conveniently. A few samples of the types of photos we need can be seen below:

If you have further questions or requests about the policies above, please feel free to contact Michael Simens personally from 11am to 7pm eastern time at 216-541-4111.
